This screenshot
was taken from the vantage point of one of the surrounding
buildings in the beginning of the map. Emphasis on the
architectural style throughout was contemporary modern,
specifically that of Athens, Greece. The heavy use of
concrete, minimal traditional architecture, dense uniform
skyline, and multilevel buildings bordering the streets'
edge appealed to me. I believed it helped define City
49's setting from the mixture of Eastern Bloc European
architecture found in the original game.
